Ronda Rousey is the face of women’s MMA and is arguably one of UFC’s biggest stars today (yeah, I said it.) with guys like GSP and Anderson Silva out of the game…

At UFC 170 last weekend, Rousey faced what was in my opinion her toughest challenge to date, Olympic wrestling champion Sara McMann who has an undefeated record of 7-0.

Finally Rousey faces someone in Sara McMann who has accomplished as much as Rousey has in combat sports, and is just as much the athlete as well.

Ronda Rousey showed up to one of the biggest fights of her career, and I’m not just saying that because it’s easy to say every fight is the biggest fight of your career when your defending the UFC championship.

Rousey landed a big knee in the clinch that ended in a controversial TKO.

The reason I say that is because Sara McMann is the strongest and most athletic opponent Rousey has ever fought, this wasn’t no girl that just got into MMA in their late teens or early twenties after being intrugied by a class of kickboxing or BJJ.

Were talking about a fighter that was raised into a wrestling family and learned how to wrestle at 3 years old, not only that but like I mentioned before McMann is a silver olympic medalist in wrestling.

Honestly, if I didn’t know the fighters and herd two olympic medalist we’re fighting in MMA, one from a judo background and the other a wrestling, I’d always go with the wrestler.

But Ronda Rousey has proved to me that she is here to stay and I don’t think anyone can beat her as long as she stays determiend and focused on MMA.

Do you think Ronda will hold her title or do you think theres someone out there that can beat her?

Also do you think the fight should’ve been stopped or did Herb Dean step in too early?

Let me know who in the comments below.
