Chris Weidman is coming off two straight wins against the former undisputed middleweight champion Anderson Silva.

He started off by shocking the world and catching Silva while he was clowning around with a hook that changed the UFC forever.

The next fight ended in one of the more unfortunate incidents to take place in the octagon, as Silva went for a leg kick and broke his shin bone when Weidman checked the kick.

Now Weidman is ready to defend his UFC middleweight title against former light heavyweight champ Lyoto Machida, an elusive and tricky fighter that’s beat the best including Tito Ortiz, Rashad Evans,  Dan Henderson and more.

Come inside to see the video preview of Chris Weidman vs Lyoto Machida at Countdown to UFC 175, you don’t want to miss this, it’ll be sure to hype you up for this Saturday!

How do I think this fights going to go down?

It’s one of those fights thats an absolute toss up but I can tell you one thing:

Lyoto Machida matches up with Chris Weidman better than anyone on Chris’s 11-0 record.

You might say wait he beat Anderson Silva but the thing is Silva doesn’t have the strength and takedown defense that Machida has, now that doesn’t mean that Machida is the better fighter but he has better tools to defeat Weidman.

Machida has always had great takedown defense and expect him to be elusive as always and stay out of the range and striking exchanges of Weidman.

I believe this fight will be amazing and I really can’t pick a winner because as great as Machida matches up to Weidman, the fact that wrestler Phil Davis managed to squeeze out a decision victory over Lyoto draws question marks.
